In my painting I created called Cubemeleon I developed art making skills. The painting was of a chameleon in its natural habitat. Instead of just a regular painting I tried to copy the style of my artist, Pablo Picasso. I experimented with Cubism (the style Picasso created) and although it was really hard at first but I got better and better throughout the painting. My first sketches are pretty rough but i'm happy to say in the end I developed my art making skills.
I Communicate Through My Work
I communicated through my work in Cubemeleon. In Cubemeleon my main goal was to communicate Pablo Picasso's famous art style cubism. I believe I achieved my goal and paid my respects to the great but now deceased artist. Although it was nearly as great as one of Picasso's paintings it was fun to make and fun to learn a new style.

I Solve Problems
Many times throughout Cubemeleon I had to solve problems. I believe every artist would agree that in almost every single piece of artwork you are going to come across problems. Whether it's a bad stroke or you're still just stuck on what to paint. For me it was all of the above and more. This was my first time doing Cubism so I had many problems but just like every elementary art teachers says "mess up fix up!". Some of the ways I fixed these problems were as simple as turning a bad stroke into a weird shape to represent cubism. Others were a lot harder but if you never give up it will always turn out ok.
